 Our Chennai Maratha Story

In August 2022, Deepu and I took a weekend trip to Chandigarh. Little did we know that a single moment would change the course of our lives. A food stall connected with us on Chennai Maratha’s incredible flavors. We were hooked. Back in the South for the years, I was devoted, until ready by that day. the flavors were so bold, and the experience — something Chennai Maratha made special — we couldn’t stop thinking about it.

That one weekend turned into a year’s worth of research, networking with franchises, and days of excitement. Within time we knew it was a franchise. We were determined to be aligned with the people and the business together.

The very next day, I arranged a meeting with Mr. Akash, the founder of Chennai Maratha. During the process, sharing with ourselves our business plan. It moved quickly, seeing the passion put into their quality and fresh ingredients. A training provided by parents, partnered us, and an unwavering commitment to authentic flavors has helped brand and continued clearly for both now. And we’re now individuals.

We opened our first outlet in 18th November 2022 in a cozy 150 sq ft space the digital personally guided us through every detail for the first 15 days, creating my work as the area might constant decisively. Started for 75-100 customers per day, it jumped to over 1 equal everything we felt.

After day one, the response has surpassed every start we imagined. The people of Pathankot and asked us and open other — self followers. Within just two months, due to overwhelming demand, we relocated to a much larger space. Today, we proudly operate one of the highest performing outlets, with over 500 sq ft of vibrant dining space.

What started as a weekend visit has become a successful, a fulfilling entrepreneurial journey. Thanks to the unwavering support from the Chennai Maratha team, we’ve not only built a business within the local community, but we’re just getting started.
